Close Call Reporting

Reporting of Close Calls is a key safety step in the prevention of incidents and accidents. Incremental Solutions have developed a Mobile Close Call Reporting application to assist with Day 1 capture and reporting of Close Call incidents. The application allows staff to either:
  • immediately report a Close Call by calling it in to the Network Rail Close Call team
  • OR record details of a Close Call (including photographs of the event) and report it to the Network Rail Close Call team via email
Timely capture of a Close Call increases both the chance that the incident will be reported and the quality of information recorded.
