You will run multiple projects within the Rail Industry to support our portfolio and deliver projects from start to finish. It requires a great handle of cost management as well as excellent stakeholder management skills to ensure delivery to client specification, time, quality and budget constraints. 

The ideal person will have a strong focus on providing a high level of service, with a professional approach, determination and ambition.  You will lead all project level dialogue with the client, suppliers and partners.  You should be an excellent communicator, comfortable managing multiple tasks and working in a small and agile structure. You will also need to be an excellent team player with a good and positive problem-solving attitude. You will work closely with the Product and tech teams using roadmaps and agile delivery methodologies.

Role responsibilities

  • Responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Work closely with the Product team to align roadmaps and use product driven delivery methodologies

Skills and experience

  • 4+ years plus project management experience as minimum
  • Constructive leader of projects who enjoys problem solving
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions
  • Ability to engage and communicate with all teams and build strong and positive working relationships
  • Willing to engage in proactive and open stakeholder dialogue
  • Experience of working on rail projects or the rail sector would be a bonus
